The 2026 BMW iX receives subtle exterior updates. New vertical daytime running lights replace the previous horizontal ones, while the grille retains its shape but adds an illuminated outline with vertical lines. The sides and rear remain mostly unchanged. Trim names have been updated: xDrive40 is now xDrive45, xDrive50 becomes xDrive60, and M60 xDrive is now M70 xDrive.

Inside, the iX maintains its refined dual-screen dashboard and elegant materials, including optional glass controls. Seats remain supportive, with available massage functions. The Advanced Driver Assistance Package enables hands-free driving on highways and automated lane changes when the driver glances left, with the car signalling and completing the move itself.

The 2026 model gains a larger battery, increasing range to between 449 km in the xDrive45 and 586 km in the xDrive60, depending on wheel size. Power output also rises: 402 hp for the xDrive45, 536 hp for the xDrive60, and 650 hp for the M70 xDrive, which accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

Pricing starts at $89,900 for the xDrive45, $94,900 for the xDrive60, and $129,900 for the M70 xDrive. The 2026 BMW iX is available now at The BMW Store in Vancouver and BMW Langley in the Fraser Valley.
